    Winterizing sprinkler system
What type of compressor should I buy to winterize my sprinkler system?

Strength PSI etc? Would those compressors that also work on power tools work?

    Thanks

I don't know what your asking, but standard water pressure is between 45-55 PSI.

I suppose you want to use the compressor to push the stale water out of the lines in which case volume (CFM/min) is not the issue, but pressure is. As long as the compressor's regulator can be set in that range you're fine.

If you want to buy a compressor for power tools then you have to figure out what tools your planning to use and get a compressor which will maintain the CFM and pressure required for the tool. So, you have to select, not necessarily purchase the tools before selecting the compressor.
