    Secret security clearance
If I have been convicted of a felony and have served time in the penitentiary for a burglary, is it possible to obtain a secret security clearance for a government job as long as I am upfront and honest about my history

No, I worked as a recruiter for the security and fire industry and if you have a felony conviction, you cannot get a job in security working for the government. So sorry

I worked for the Government, worked on clearances and background checks. The answer is no.
