    Keyboard not typing correct charcters
My keyboard is typing up pure gibberish and messing up the keys.

When I try to type a question mark, it comes out as É, and I cannot type slash either, because it comes out as é.

After further experimentation I realized the question mark has been moved to shift+6, and slash was moved to hyphen. The character above the number 6 was moved to the left brace bracket and will not come out unless there is another character typed after it.

The on screen keyboard is no help either, and types the wrong keys as well.

Some of the missing keys have been replaced by others, and can no longer be typed. This is getting really annoying and I am hoping someone can help me with this.

More than likley, someone switch the language of the operating system and the PC is using the wrong code pa=ge character map.

See if you can go under the control panel and set the correct language then shut down . After the shut down, re POST the PC and see what happens.

    Try this

Press SHIFT + ALT (hold shift, then press alt, then let go of both... also, use the ones on the left side of the keyboard)

Then try typing. If it types the same characters, then yeah... my advice doesn't work.

If it types a different type of characters, then keep pressing SHIFT ALT until it gets back to english.
