    Light strips
    The required voltage is 12V.

Zone Tech 30cm LED Car Flexible Waterproof Light Strip WHITE (pack of 4)
    Item# 201284332474

How can it work in a household? The wall outlet is 120 volts

Get a power supply adapter/battery replacement that produces 12VDC and at least 500 milliamps or more. There are loads of them at Goodwill. LED will not work on straight AC.

Why are you trying to use a car lighting system in a building?

I cancel the order. My mistake. They told me it would work
As a under the counter kitchen light, but I would need an adapter.

Not an adapter, you need a transformer to step down from 120 VAC to 12 DC, they are not expensive.http://www.amazon.com/105-Watt-Step-.../dp/B002ZPO8YW

Lots of people use 12 volt inside houses for many projects.

Also just think of it, like your cell phone, anytime you change your cell phone, the electric is going from 110 (or 240 here) to the 12 vt. Or like I am doing with my computer now.

That stuff is not car lighting. It's simply 12V LED tape light being marketed as car lighting by that one eBay seller. The same stuff is all over the place, Amazon seems to have the best prices and availability.
I've used it as UC lighting on several jobs with nice results.
