Where do I send my contractor's Pennsylvania 1099's
We have 11 independent contractors. I issued 1099's to each. Now I have to file a copy with PA Department of Revenue. Where do I send them.

    Thanks

    Tom

Go to the PA Dept of Revenue website to see if they have an address to which to mail the Form 1099s.

If not, call and ASK! Do not be surprised if they tell you they do not want them (many states do not want to bother).

From PA Dept of Revenue site:

Where does someone who issues a 1099-MISC, 1099-R mail the PA copy?

    Question
I have issued some 1099-MISC for work performed for me. Where do I mail the Pennsylvania state copy of the 1099?

    Answer
The only 1099 information an issuer is required to submit is Form 1099-R, if there is a premature distribution of a pension or profit-sharing plan. If a 1099-R is issued without PA taxes withheld, the 1099-R forms should be mailed to:
    PA Department of Revenue
    Bureau of Individual Taxes
    PO Box 280509
    Form 1099-R
    Harrisburg, PA 17128-0509.

If there is PA withholding shown on the 1099-R, the forms and REV-1667 should be mailed to:
    PA Department of Revenue
Bureau of Business Trust Fund Taxes
    PO Box 280412
    Harrisburg, PA 17128-0412.

The due date for submitting copies of the 1099-R is January 31.

Issuers are NOT required to submit any other 1099 information to the Department of Revenue such as, 1099-A, 1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-MISC.

REV-1667 is available at http://www.revenue.state.pa.us, forms and publications, business taxes, REV-1667.

See! I told you that the state may not want to bother with the Form 1099-MISC.
