Can breast tenderness, and frequent unrination be caused by only pregnancy?
I have had breast tenderness, for about 5 days, and have had frequent urination for about 7 days now.
I ovulated a little over a week ago, and had my last period sept 30, 2009.
Is it possible I am pregnant already, and having symptoms.
Or is there another reason for this?

Breast tenderness could just be pms. There's other things that cause frequent urination. UTI's. Drinking more water than usual. Just to start with. Even if you are pregnant, it's too early for you to be having those symptoms. I would wait until your next period is due and if it doesn't come, take a test.

    Thanks.
I thought it would be to early, but I did not know,
Because people tell me that you can never be to sure.
And I want to be pregnant very badly.
I guess I am just watching my body to closely

Yes. It's amazing the tricks your mind can play on you. There's some really helpful stickies at the top of the forum that I think you might find helpful.

I am 5 days away from my period,
And the preagnancy test say it can be taken up to 5 days before missed period.
Is it OK to do so or should I wait?

I am still having breast soreness and ferquent urination

You can take it, but keep in mind that most people don't get a positive that early, even if they are pregnant.

I would wait until you're at least a week late, the test will be more accurate. Make sure to use first morning urine.

    Good luck. :)

    Thank you :)
I am just so anxious, but I am trying not to get worked up.

I do not know why I would be having breast tenderness for over a week now if I was not pregnant.

Can breast tenderness in pregnancy show up, even before you can get positive on a pregnancy test?

Breast tenderness can also be because of PMS.

I just noticed bright blue veins on my breast, that I can feel with my hands, and bumps around my nipple.

    WHAT IS THIS??

    This is freaking me out.

    Is this normal?

Breast tenderness has never been an issue for me.

I have had on the say before I start my period, and that is it.
So this over a week thing. Is crazy for me also.

I never noticed how tender my breasts got right before my period---until I was trying to get pregnant.

Then I saw pregnancy symptoms in EVERYTHING, I'd get my hopes up, and then I'd crash HARD when my period showed up every month because my hopes were so high.

See a doctor, get on prenatal pills, chart your ovulation, and wait until AFTER you miss a period to test.

Most couples take about a YEAR to get pregnant. If you ride the roller coaster of trying to figure out if you're pregnant before you even miss a period, then you're in for a LOT of horrid feelings when your period DOES show up. Pay attention to your body, but don't look at every little thing as a sign of pregnancy. MOST of the early signs of pregnancy are ALSO the signs that your period is about to show up.

    Oh OK.
So the vein thing is normal for periods, and the bumps?
Oh and I also notices my nipples are darker.

I have never paid any attention to my breast before,
So it could have been like this all along,
But hope fully I am pregnant.

I notice the veins in my breasts more right before my period, and occasionally the bumps around my nipples.

If you are REALLY concerned, then you need to see a doctor.

You should be seeing one regularly anyway if you are trying to get pregnant.

I am actually due to start my period in about 5 days.
So you think that might be it?
I normally only have one day of breast tenderness right before my period, so I have had this for 10 days now, that is one of the reasons I thought I would post a question.

They are not so sore that it hurts to touch them, they are just s little tender now. I notice it more a night then during the day.

Really, we can't tell you for sure.

You could be pregnant, it could just be pms.

The only way to know for sure is to wait, test if you're late.

There's nothing more we can tell you.

I know, sometimes I just want to know other's opinions.
I am scared to take a test, but afraid to start my period.
But I guess everything will happen the way it is supposed to.
My husband and I have been trying for 4 months now to get pregnant, so I guess it will happen when it is time.

But thank you for all of your help

OK so I started what might be my period, and it only lasted 2 1/2 days, and I did cramp.
    I am usually 5 days.
I also started 5 days early.
How likely is this that it is just my period?
I have never been early, and never lasted less that 4 days.
But I heard the period change with every month.

I'm sorry to say so, but it's PROBABLY just your period.

You really need to go into your gynecologist and discuss ALL of this with her. She can talk to you about charting ovulation, and get you on prenatal pills--and talk to you about getting TOO anxious every month about whether you are pregnant.

You are still in the early stages! Enjoy the "practice" for it, and start actually getting anxious and worried if you get to a year without getting pregnant.

    OK thanks :)
I am actually already on pre natal vitamins, for about 4 months now, and I have been charting my ovulation. But I guess it just is not working yet.
    But it will.
If I can not pin point my ovulation, is it safe to insure possibly pregnancy to have intercourse every other day?
