What is the difference between a kohler drain with and without overflow?
Hello, how do I know if the bathroom sink drain that I need should be "with" or without overflow?

There is no "overflow " hole at the top of the sink.. " It's a Kohler.

    Thanks

Without overflow. The pop up provides the venting.

    Hi G

Purchase a VESSEL SINK DRAIN with mushroom (also called an umbrealla style) or flip-top head (see images). These drains work best for the case you present!

Do NOT purchase a grid style vessel sink drain... don't work well!
