    Bath water only lukewarm
My bath water is only lukewarm (35.1c) where the kitchen and bathroom sinks are red hot.
There was a new bath fitted a month ago and had loads of repairs to boiler (values) so I'm stuck on what else is wrong.

Gas or electric how water heater? You say that you have hot water to the kitchen and bathroom vanity , but not to you tub? Is this correct?
Sound like you might have. Dirt in your supplies. Each the solution is to shut the w up a link back in not up to iron to drive in and open up the valve. Remove the cartridge and check and clean the inlets. Before you reassemble, turn the water on and flush the supplies out. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom

    It's a combi boiler.
    Yeah that's correct.
Are you saying there is dirt in my boiler or the pipes? As when the plumber last came (they have been already 5times in 2weeks) they cleaned all the pipes etc in the boiler and replaced all valves.

However this problem was happening prior to them doing all this and continues to be a problem.

    Hi Louisa

Has anyone checked for a temperature limiting device at the bath valve? If not, I would have the plumber remove the trim plate and check for this limiting device... can be adjusted to increase the temperature if present... ;)

Glad to help! If hot water is getting to all fixtures I'm betting the temperature limiting device is turned down... should be a simple adjustment if present!

See an idea of one type of temperature limiting device below... see increments (under handle on most valves). Each manufacturer is different, but basically, the idea is the same for all valves.

Let me know what happens, OK?

    Good luck!
