Hi -
We have low hot water pressure from both our shower head and tub faucet It's a Delta single arm ball handle if that helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi -
We have low hot water pressure from both our shower head and tub faucet It's a Delta single arm ball handle if that helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
1: turn off the water to your home.
2: remove handle.
3: remove large domed nut under handle.
4: remove delta ball,rubber seat's & springs.
5: if you find dirt and debris in this area you found your problem. If not,
6: close the shower door and turn the water on for 10 sec and see if that cleans
Your valve out.
7: install a new set of seats & springs and a new ball.
8: reinstall nut and handle.
Good luck
Thanks so much - we replaced the seats and springs and no luck. Ordered a new ball so will try again once that comes. The old one is clean and looks in good shape - didn't see how this ball could wear out. Appreciate your reply and will let you know
Did you try step #6 ?
And if you did try #6 was there a strong stream? Let us know, Tom
Hi - we didn't try number six - when we took out the ball and springs we noticed that there were what looked like shut off valve on either side. We took the valve apart and cleaned some of the debris that had collected. The flow is much better now - Thanks for your help
