    New toilet on concert floor
I have a cast iron pipe filled with concrete sticking out of the floor. Im wanting to mount a toilet.
1 What do I use to cut the cast iron pipe?
    2. Do they make a toilet flange that goes inside this pipe or do I need to break out concrete to attach on the outside of the pipe?
    3. What do you use to attach the plastic toilet flange to the cast iron pipe?

[QUOTE=polpd]I have a cast iron pipe filled with concrete sticking out of the floor. Im wanting to mount a toilet.
    How much concrete, how deep?
1 What do I use to cut the cast iron pipe?
A sawzall [reciprocating saw] with a lenox 856r blade on slow speed pressed hard up to the cast iron. Then using goggles and a hammer, tap from the inside out on the side of the pipe to bring it to floor level. This only works on a concrete floor. Or you can use a large cresent wrench to bend and snap the pipe without the flying metal. Use same technique from inside to outside motions.
    2. Do they make a toilet flange that goes inside this pipe or do I need to break out concrete to attach on the outside of the pipe?
A compression toilet flange will work. It has 3 allen screws inside to tighten the flange to the pipe. The flange must also be screwed to the floor.
    3. What do you use to attach the plastic toilet flange to the cast iron pipe?
    See above
