    Sink backing up
In the upstairs bathroom, I have two sinks side by side that are backing up. Removed and cleaned pee trap on both, same problem. Sinks back up on their own. (Will back up without flushing toilet or running shower.) Sinks downstairs are fine.

The problem's in the lateral, (horizontal line) in the wall. Remove the trap and send a small hand snake up into the wall. The good news is that you won't have to put out much over 6' of snake. Afterward, flush the line out with a large pan of boiling water to loosen the grease and hair and flush it on out. Good luck. Tom
