    Looking for a Stanadyne part
Have an older single knob Stanadyne faucet. Model 84501. There's a cracked white plastic piece I need to replace, which is directly under the handle. The handle screw passes through this piece, which couples the handle to the brass stem below. Because it's cracked, the handle wobbles and feels loose. I haven't been able to find any repair parts for it. Anyone know where I can find this part, or a replacement handle kit?

A few more details. I don't seem to be able to pull up the diagramed on your faucet, Can you tell me what it does? I have older diagrams I could put up with the part numbers but I can't locate #84501. Give me all the information you have. Regards, Tom

Thanks for the reply. It's a lav faucet for a bathroom vanity. Single handle, pull up for flow, twist left or right for hot or cold. I do have the installation instructions, but I don't know how to send you a scanned image unless I get your email addy. And the installation instructions don't have an interior parts breakdown, so all you'd see is a pic of the faucet nad how to install it. The instructions I have are for an 84501 (no pop up drain), an 84521 (with pop up), and an 84904 (antique brass). The part I'm talking about should be common to all of them. It's directly under the clear plastic handle, and it steers the stem left or right for hot or cold. I found out this company merged with Moen, and when I pulled the faucet apart, it had a Moen cartridge in it. All other interior parts are absolutely perfect, I just need this one piece, otherwise I have to replace the entire faucet. Bruce.
