    Bath water not draining
I have recently moved into a very old property and my bath water is not draining as it looks as though previous owners poured cement/concrete down it . I have removed trap and extending pipe to clean as best I could but it is still not draining. I can't get to any more pipes - please help

No one in their right mind would pour cement in a drain but I have seen it at some foreclosures. What did you find in the trap when you pulled it?

Hi you it looked like cement but I'm a novice so could be wrong but what came out was like rock and it was along the bottom of the trap and the long pipe next to it. This leads onto a big gray pipe but I can't get any further :(

You need to snake that pipe. The big gray pipe is your main and if it were clogged most of the whole house would not drain. I'd buy/borrow a snake drum that fits onto an electric drill. 25 Ft. Drain Cleaner With Drill Attachment

OK I will do that as the rest of the house is fine . I will let you know how I get on tomorrow. Wish me luck! X
