Why only warm water, not hot?
We just remodeled our master bathroom and had some real amateur jokers (not plumbers) do the work, They installed the new plumbing fixtures (faucets and a toilet) but now the shower does not get hot, it just gets warm. The sinks in the bathroom get quite hot but the shower does not. Also the bathtub (soaking tub) has poor hot water flow but the fixture is being replaced, I don't know if the two are connected or what but any advice would help. The pressure seems fine, the water just does not get very hot. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is there a temperature regulator or scald guard on the shower?

What kind of faucet control. Had same problem before and have a Delta one control knob and you can take off the knob and adjust to get more hot water.

    Hope this helps steve

I already adjusted the handle, didn't do me any good, it's a Kohler faucet control

It sounds like your "plumbers" left you with a cross connection that is interjecting cold water into the hot water lines. I hope you haven't covered up the piping because I think you are due for a redo. Good luck, Tom
