I'm replacing my old bathroom vanity and the plumbing to the sink comes up through the foor. How do I install my new vanity with out changing the plumbing?

The best way would be to tear everything out and run a vent out the roof/
But that doesn't answer your question, Install a AAV, (air admittance valve, see image) just behind the trap,(see image) and your sink will be vented without a lot of changes, Good luck, Tom

You remove your trap and all stop valves back to a point where you just have 3 pipes coming straight up through the floor. Take careful measurements of the 3 pipes and their location compared to the back wall and transfer these measurements to the floor of the vanity. I'd make a cardboard template to test out my accuracy. Cut holes in the vanity to exactly match the pipes and drop the vanity down over the pipe, no sink installed at this point.

Ballenger nailed it. If u are going to remove the shut off valves, be sure to shut off main water supply until after u have reinstalled valves,

LOL yes shutting off the water main would be a good idea. Thanks Chuck. Cover all 3 open pipe end with masking tape while you work helps too.

Hey guys! Did I miss something here? The fact that the drain exits through the floor tells me the vanity isn't vented,
Bob gave very good advice about setting the cabinet over the pipes but stropped short of giving directions on hooking up the supplies and drain. Am In the only one that thinks the old vanity wasn't vented?

Tom, drain pipe through the floor only tells me one thing, neither you or I did this job. Never know what's going on when I run into this kind of junk. One was an S trap and the other went into the floor, did a 90 into the wet vent in the wall. Who knows what OP has. I am just sticking with the question oresent :How do I install my new vanity with out changing the plumbing?
