Think about questions that others might ask you as for questions you'd ask another...

What is your religion?
Are you a convert from another religion?
What are the key tenets of your religion?
etc...

Here are some questions you might want to ask.

1. What made you choose or stay in the religion you are in?

2. How has it affected your life?

3. Do you believe it to be the only religion worth following?

4. If yes, why?

Does your religion involve sacrificing virgins ?

Ask basic questions but act like you know few things about the religion.Don't ask in depth questions because you may come off as being a know-it-all if you try to use too many specific questions.Starman gave you some real good Q's also.

Just ask them what religon they are...

What do you believe?
Why do you believe what you believe?
Were you born into this religion or did you come about it later on in life?
How often do you pray?
What do you find most rewarding about your religion?
How has this religion impacted your life?
Have you ever questioned your faith?
What spiritual challeges or obstacles have you encountered?

Do you believe in a creator?
