Can kiwanis president give his daughter a bursary
My neighbor has been really harassing us so I checked him out and found that when he was president of our local kiwanis his daughter received a bursary for school.I think it is a conflict of interest,if not fraud. It sure looks like favouritism in the wrorst way and abuse of authority.

Are you saying that the Kiwanis club gave her the scholarship? Do you know who made the decision; your neighbor as president, or the club as a whole? If it's the latter, and he happened to be president at the time, I don't think he would be in the wrong.

In any event, unless you are a member of the Kiwanis club, how is any of your business?

Members of the kiwanis club, including their officers are allowed to apply for the scholarships. Merely being president does not allow him to pick his own child to get it.

If you feel you need to report this, please do, you can do it to the International Headquarters.

As noted, decisions on awards are not made by any one person. So it is unlikely there is any conflict of interest here. This appears to be just a way for you to get back at this neighbor for reporting your violations of the law.

I think the OP should take his/her own advice: (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-...ml#post3006842) - "Mind your own buisness.how is this affecting your life?if it does not cause you to suffer, or cause you any pain, you should mind your own buisness"

    Pure revenge re the scholarship.
