    Gas spill
My grandkids spilled a can of gas in the garage and now the house smells like gas, what can their mother do to get rid of the smell and to clean the gas up?

What do you mean by gas? Do you mean like methane, cooking gas? I'm not sure what you meant by the can.

Try opening windows, venting the place out a lot. A few fans wouldn't go unnotcied as well.

Gasoline does not mix with water. However, soaps and detergents should solve that problem. I'd start with a simple washing of the garage floor with soap and water. If you can get the gas off the floor of the garage (and it hasn't been tracked into the house), airing out your house should work to get rid of any fumes inside.

ahh you mean gas as in petrol =P aussie terms are different lol.

dmatos is right. Clean it up with the right solvent then air out the house.

Dawn soap, the green kind, the one that cuts grease. :) It works really well.
