    Kashi bars
Are the kashi bars good for you. On commercials they say they are but I don't completely believe that. I have tried it before and they are not bad but they just have about 200 calories in one "roll". That's what they call it but its like a bar. Anyone whose tried it or know about it help/

In my opinion I don't think it's the calories that are a problem with a food... I'll have to look into it-never actually had one-it's what the bar actually contains that's going to answer the question I think... 200 calories of "good" foods isn't a bad thing... but 200 "empty" calories? Not so good ;) Does it contain a lot of sugars, fats, sodium? That's what I'd be concerned with... I'll get some tomorrow (hopefully I remember! ) Now you've got me curious!

Hope someone is able to answer your question more thoroughly! If not, I'll give you an actual educated opinion after I do my grocery shopping... :)

Check the grams of sugar, from what I've read the go lean bars have 32 grams of sugar, that's a bit ! I'll have to look more into this but check the nutritional label and see what the Dv of sugar is if it's over 20%, it's a bit high for a breakfast. I am very interested now because I know that basically it advertises 7 whole grains in the cereal bars, but if it's full of sugar... mmmmm I'll be back- when I know more

You need to look at the ingredients to be sure. If it has soybean in the ingredients then it's guaranteed to put weight on you as soybeans are essentially cattle feed given to cattle to fatten them up. Does the same thing with people also. Since I stopped ingesting anything that has soybean in the ingredient I have lost weight effortlessly.

I think I looked over the Kashi bars and put them back on the self.
