    Hi I am a 25 year old girl and since few months my cycle has become very very irregular this month I had it twice I went and saw a doctor and she told me that it was due to stress or getting over exhausted but I am still very nervous about it and need a second advice.how normal is it to have your periods twice in a month.it makes me very tired and fatigue. Please help.

    I am sorry it took so long to get to this post, I noticed it was in Child & Teen health, I will have it moved to the Nursing board.

    As for your question, your doctor is correct in stating that your cycle can be out of whack, so to speak, due to stress and over-exhaustion.

    If this continues to happen you need to go back to the doctor to have this checked out. You do not say how long this has been occurring, but I am assuming since you get very tired that it has been happening for a couple of months.

    In the meantime, let me suggest that you take a daily vitamin that includes iron. Menstruation, such that you have been experiencing, can lead to a lack of iron in your system that will cause fatigue.

    However, I am not a doctor and cannot diagnose without a history and physical, so I will suggest making another doctor appt and ask as many questions as you can. They are there to help.
