    Remote Desktop
How do I use remote desktop over a LAN. The system I'm trying to connect to is running windows home edition, while the system I'm connecting from is running professional. Second is that the two systems are on different ip ranges but all of the same lan. I was able to establish a connection but logging in its asking me for a user name and password. Which user name and password is this, since I've tried all I know but its not going?

The username and password is for the computer you are trying to log into.

Remote desktop is an application that enables you to log into machine as if you are sitting in front of it..
