Itchy red bumps around shaft and tip of penis
My question is that I have these red bumps on the shaft of my penis and tip, as well, a couple around my testicles which itch pretty bad. I have a bump on the inner part of my thighs, and small bumps on lower part of my stomach. Then I have like these clear itchy bumps on my hands. It itches bad and usaully even worse before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning. I went to a health center and they told me to use hydrocortisone but it isn't working. It worked on my hands but not down south. Any thoughts or suggestions? Please reply.

It appears from your description you may have a case of crabs, a human parasite. Similar to a flea. You could have come in contact with them from sitting on a toilet, using someone else's towels (who had them as well) or sexual contact with a woman who has them.

    Go to another doctor.

Are you sexually active? Have you been out in the woods, or a grassy area, like around a pond recently? It could be one of several things. It could be Poison Ivy, chiggers(red bugs), small ticks, and yes even crabs. It's probably being scratched/clawed by you in your sleep. Use the cream, and wear gloves to bed.

It wouldn't do any harm, and is somewhat embarrassing though, to ask at a pharmacy for blue ointment that would take care of the crabs, or anything else crawling around down there. But the point is, you can't walk around scratching everywhere and it will get to the point where they keep reproducing (from a good blood source) and you are going to have more then you bargained for, and if you are sexually active, then that person will have them too undoubtedly. Or, you could go to an STD clinic and ask them for a referral. I am quite sure they have heard just about everything so would know what you need. I will try to add a website to show you what these little critters look like. By the way, shaving off all of your pubic hair would help a lot too.

It's most probably scabies. I used to have it, got it from my ex, and it sounds exactly the same. Only reason I was here is because after applying the cream prescribed by the doctors, all my rashes/bumps went away except the ones ion my penis. Although I must say that they had stopped itching for a bit, but its back now. I did recently get another prescription for the cream though, so I hope it help.

Also, I never tried hydrocortisone. The cream doctors prescribed me contained permethrine 5% which is supposed to help with this. But you, as I said I had the same problem as you where is doesn't go away "down south." I'm guessing its because the skin down there is more compressed , etc. Try applying it when you are erect so that the skin is stretched out, hopefully we'll both get rid of it.
