    Shooting shoulder blade pain
    I woke up with a really back stabbing pain under right shoulderblade thinking I had slept wrong breathing deep hurts and almost like a contraction were my eyes fill up with water I want to know should I put hot or cold to make it go away??

    You need to seek medical attention. This could be a number of things, but only a medical professional can diagnose it properly.

    OMG, I have been suffering from this for two years now and never have met anyone else who has the same thing. Mine started when I was injured at work, a crate fell directly on my head, and caused a bulging, disc which squeezes the nerves going that way. This translates in to referred pain, (pain caused by an injury other than the location of the pain.)
    Anyway in my case there is nothing to be done about it, as it is not severe enough for surgery. Now this is not to say that you have the same problem but it could be. A DR. visit never hurts.
