    burning hip sensations
HI, I've been having off and on burning sensations on my right hip area... almost feels like it is draining? I thought it was appendicitis last April... very sharp pain... but the x-rays and ultrasounds said no. They seemed to blame that incident on my fibroid. What could be causing this burning sensation... from my hip bone down to the top of my thigh up to my rib cage and inward towards my belly button? :(

Fibroids or cysts can produce thosekinds of symptoms.

Since it has ben 6 months along & you still have symptoms, perhaps you should see a gynecologist.

Are you experiencing heavy bleeding & more frequently than a normal menstrual cycle?
You will be asked these questions.

The treatment is usually dependent on childbearing and age factors, with a conservative approach if you desire children.

Caffeine usually aggravates the fibroids- as far as dietary culprits are concerned.
