Beach-water 1/10 is effective as a wash for the scales that build up. Organic Apple cider vinegar-effective.
Coconut oil will help stop the itch and speed healing. Knowing the properties of Tea Tree oil as well as vit E I would believe they work as well. Nothing is going to be an overnight fix. It takes time and patience. Clean effected area twice daily with the bleach solution and pick one product/home remedy and stick with it. I have worked at an animal shelter for years and all of the above work fine. Like I said-patience and TWICE a day. Most people who do not find relief even with the over the counter athlete foot creams are not cleaning the area and then applying a thin layer of cream. Too much is not better.

See your doctor, that's what he's there for after all.
Ringworm is not too difficulat to cure, don't use herbal remedies, or bleach which will only irritate and maybe even cause it to go septic, and still be contagious.
Also try extra vitamic C tabs or drink.

I have had ringworm for about a year on my chest! I have been through every cream including Nizoral, Daktacort, Daktarin, Lamisil etc... all NO NOT WORK! I am now on my 4th day of the oral medication fluconazole after seeing ANOTHER doctor and it seemed to be disappearing on the second day but today (the 4th day) it is back but has a peeling look to it. I don't know if its working but I hope it does! My medication is for 7 days so we'll soon see... I am also going to start ex foliating to see if this gets rid of it! Home remedies are also a bunch of bull! If you want to be left with scars and painful stings then by all means use bleach with no effect whatsoever!

Good luck to anyone with it because it is sincerely the HARDEST thing to get rid of!
