    Eye bulging
    Hello everyone!

I'm new here.. and I have a question

Two year ago I noticed that my right eye has bulged out. And when I look in the mirror my eyes don't look even anymore, the one that has bulged out looks lower. It looks like my eye is open more than the other eye. I went to the eye doctor and they didn't think I had a problem, he thought I was always like this, but I'm not, I know when there is a difference in me, I look in the mirror everyday.. He just dismissed me and didn't think it was serious and he ruled out the fact that I have a tumor on my brain.

I don't have any thyriod problems (I have taken numerous bloods tests) and I have no other health problems, according to the doctors I'm perfectly healthy.

This might sound weird but I notice that some days my right eye is especially bulgy and other days not quite as much.. My left eye bulged a little, but not as near as obvious as the right eye

Do you guys think this could be allergies? If so, can I fix it? I also have been having hair loss problems for the past 3 years, and I just recently have been thinking it might have to do with my really bad anxiety. Could this maybe a symptom of the eye buldge?

Please help, I'm worried and I don't like how it makes me look.

Well you said that some days your right eye is bulgy and other days it is not. Why don't you take a picture of your eyes each day for about a week or so. You could bring the pictures and show your doctor and then maybe he could better figure out the problem.

Well it's always bulgy but I meant some days it's more bulgy then others..

But I like your thinking, thanks I will try it.. It's so frustrating when doctors look at you like you're crazy when you say you have a problem.. they just don't listen sometimes.

I have exactly the same problem actually... I'm afraid of going to the eye doctor because maybe it's just nothing and in that case I will make myself ridiculous. Did you go to the doctor? And if yes, what did he say it was?
    Thanks!

The symptoms you describe remind me of graves disease, the eye symptoms sound like the same thing, It could also be a non-malignant tumor called a pituitary Adenoma. If you smoke you should stop.

    I have the same problem!
My situation is a little different. I was Pregnant about a year ago and after I had my daughter I noticed my eyes bulged out, one more than the other. I went to the eye doctor and he noticed it right away. I am really scared and in the process of going to see a eye specialist about this. I need to know what caused this and how to fix it. I also noticed other peoples eyes that got bulged right after they had babies, even on celebrities. Please let me know if you get any other answers about this as I will do the same.

I habe the same problem with my right eye. Have done tests including mri but doctors couldn't figure out what's wrong with my eye.. It sometimes is very itchy. I get very conscious with it. Its very obvious & it makes me really depressed at times. Eyelid from my right eye is puffy. I hope someone could really figure out what could be done to fix this.:(

I have the same problem you describe, only with the addition of headache & pain coming from behind the right eye, and right sided chest pain. Re the eye, I can see the difference clearly but the doctors obviously don't appreciate what you looked like before the problem! I had a clear MRI over 12 months ago ( when headaches first started ) blood tests seem OK apart from a raised white cell count which was OK 2nd time around ( this happened twice over the last 6 months ) and a clear chest ct scan. Opthamolgist tests have so far been fine too. Im still at a loss and it seems the doctors are too atm.
Did you have any resolution to your problem?
