My husband left me 2 months ago, not only did he leave me but he left 6 children as well. We have been married for 20 years and I don't know what to do? I live at home with 4 of the children because my 2 oldest daughters are in college and I'm helpless. I don't have a job and I just got a permit to drive. I go to see my husband so that he can give me money and we just get into arguments about it. I know I have to do something about the situation to help out my family but I don't know what the first step is? Please help!

Why your husband left you? Can you find a job? I think he has to pay if your children is still under 16!

1. You get an attorney and file for divorce, ask for ownership of the car, house and get child support for those minor children at home and money for those in college.
Also try to get some alimony on a monthly basis from him.

2. Also find a job, any job at this point then find a better one after that.

Fr, Chuck is right, a lawyer and a job, to start with. Then go after everything else you deserve( or can get ). Why did he leave, if you don't mind sharing.
