Problems with Panasonic KX TG2730 Cordless Phone?
I have this phone over two years. I never faced any problem. Recently it is giving me trouble in ringing only once, after that it gets discarded after 10 secs. So by the time I reach the phone it gets disconnected. All the callers are complaining that I should dump this phone! That's why I'm keeping phone along my waist while in home always :-(.

But I'm sure that I messed with some settings. Can somebody please help me out in this.

But is there any possibility that it can be due to the sbc line?

    Thanks in advance

    Yeap,

I think the most probably cause is the line not the phone, maybe without you notice, a code to program a call forwarding was set to your line. I mean a dialing like *61*xxxx, was introduced from your phone and your service provider stored that you want that treatment for the call.

Since those codes may vary from service provider, I suggest you to contact customer service and ask how to remove the call forwardings.
