Well will your trucks have lift gates, normally this does away with having to have a 2nd person on a truck, and are you doing mostly pallet delivery to loading docks.

What are you delivering, and where are you at. We always just have one person per truck on any delivery we ever get at our office or warehouse here in TN

I guess what I was trying to say is that you did not say enough for anyone to give you an answer,

You did not note what you would delivery, where you would delivery,
Cross country or local, what size of trucks, and a lot more.

    So if you don't have a job for a 5th person, don't hire a 5th person,

And you should not even be thinking about a business unless you have a detailed business plan written, showing what you were going to do, and exact details of the business.

So what do you do with a fifth person, lay them off and save some money.
And what I was doing was questioning why you were going to hire so many people, sounds like a lot of labor for a business with high costs to start. But maybe your product or customers require it, but without telling us we can only compare you to UPS, or Roadway or someone we know
