Can't print from web page using internet explorer
Had AOL, was able to print web pages when online. Just switched to another isp who uses IE, and am unable to print any web pages. Just spits out a paper with one line. Hope this is the correct forum, and am happy with any info one can give me. Thanks

Solved IT! Just made Firefox my main search engine, and now I CAN print pages that Interent Explorer would not allow before. Hope this helps someone else.

Except that this doesn't make any sense. First, ISP's don't generally "use" any particular browser. The browser reads the code on the page and interprets it, does what is says, and spits it back out on your monitor. It's just that AOL has its own browser that can basically only be used for AOL, and you have to have it open. You can actually minimize it to get it out of your face, and open up IE or Firefox or whatever and use it just as well. Most internet providers don't provide a special browser. So you just switched to one (good for you since AOL stinks) that doesn't provide their own.

If changing to Firefox helped, it hasn't actually fixed whatever the problem is, because you should be able to print from IE as well. Meaning there's some issue between IE and your printer, or something. You found a work-around, but you didn't "solve it." There's obviously another issue going on. And no, I don't know what it is. If you're happy with your solution that is fine for you. So I wrote this just as an FYI, and also so other people realize you found another way around the problem and did not actually solve the problem with IE.

I had the same problem. I couldn't print any web pages. Computer is 1 year old, and I can't tell what version of Internet Explorer I was using. But I couldn't print web pages. I looked for every setting possible and it wouldn't print. I could print everything offline, though.

So I just downloaded Mozilla Fire Fox browser and guess what... Now I can print web pages. Ya think Microsoft has bugs??

    Microsoft SUCKS!
