    H1B to Green Card
    Hello,

My husband has an H1B visa now. Though he does not hold a bachelor degree, he has over 16 years experience in IT.
Is he eligible to apply for Green card without a degree? If yes, what is an approximate term for waiting for it?
Is the risk to get rejection higher than for professionals who hold a bachelor's degree?

    Thank you
    Lana

He will have to be sponsored by an employer who can prove there is no other US citizen that can fill the positiion. And if he qualifies, thus receiving his green card if hired.

Degree has little to do with it.

He is already on H1B, so GC is not that difficult if the employer would support him. Processing time vary depends on country where he comes from.. could be up to 5 years.
