    Thermostat Wiring, Hunter 44155c
    Hello,
Having issues wiring my new thermostat. I've got the heat/ac to switch on but I had to mess with it some. I have a G, R, B, Y & W wire coming to my thermostat. My thermostat has a G, RC, RH, Y/O, W/B & Y1 port.

This is what I messed with:

    AC worked: G to G, R to RC, B to RH, Y to Y/O, W to W/B, nothing to Y1
    Heat worked: G to G, B to RC, R to RH, Y to Y/O, W to W/B, nothing to Y1
    Both at once: G to G, Jumpered R to RC & RH, B to Y/O, W to W/B, Y to Y1
    Best: G to G, Jumpered R to RC & RH, y to Y/O, W to W/B, B to Y1

From what I can gather the wireing usually goes:
    Red - power
    Blue - common
    White - gas
    Yellow - AC
    Green - Fan

From what I can gather the ports are:
    G - Fan
    RC - 24v Cool
    RH - 24v
Y/O - AC Compressor or Reverse Valve operating in cool mode
W/B - Heating or Reverse Valve operating in Heat mode
    Y1 - Heat Pump compressor

I just want to make sure that I'm wired correctly because I have a gas funace.

I'm wired to the Best: setting atm, will I have any problems with this?

    Thanks for your input,

    J O

Call Hunter tech support. They helped me with this and it was free for me. Issue is you have to many wires. You don't need a jumper in the last slot. Call support!!
