    Using cap/mesh to color hair?
Why is it when you go to the hairdressers and you want to go blond or lighter, they always use the cap or meshes and say they can not put bleach straight on your head ,which I get that but you can buy high lightening kits that do the same job and you can put that straight on your head, is it a money making thing or something els??

When you get highlights, the hairstylist will use a cap, foils or the mesh method to put highlights and dimensions in the hair. However, if they have a client that wants to go blonde, they will bleach the whole hair and then apply a toner to make the color look natural. Perhaps there's a reason why your stylist won't bleach close to the scalp. Sometimes bleaching your hair can burn the scalp and cause the hair to fall out. And if your hair is fragile, the stylist will not bleach close to the scalp or the whole hair.

Most hair stylists do not like to colour the hole head with blech because it is very dangerous!! It can cause burns and you hair to snap. Also they charge you more because they are using professional products wich are better for you hair. The blecah that you by in a shop is not the same as it cost about 5-7 pounds, a 500 gram bag of bleech in the salon caots about 50-60 pound because it is stonger and a lot better for you hair if you know what you are doing to it, a mesh colour is a hi-lift which is a lot better for you heair as theis is not as harsh as bleech but it doesn't have as strong as lift as bleach. In my honset opinion ask for mesh or wovent through foils as this is a lot better than attacking your hair with bleach, it may cost a lot more but it is better going blone slowley than faster.
