My hair had a perm that went bad and is now really frizzy and dry.
The person that did my perm messed my hair up. Now it is really Frizzy and dry. What kind of products should I use to treat my hair. Or should I just cut it all off. My hair is down to past the middle of my back. Thanks

L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture is great for this. It says on the jar "For very dry, chemically processed hair. Softens, nurtures and moisturizes. I get it at Sallys for about $14 for a 16 oz jar. If that doesn't help your hair, nothing will. Don't cut off until you try this stuff for several weeks.

This exact thing happened to me and I did the following
If it was a salon and they overprocessed you I would demand that they condition it at no charge for several months. They have intense conditioners that would help and I would cut off as much as you can and still be happy. This will help your hair and cut down on breakage from weight. Good luck

Once my hair was down to my shoulders and this happened to me. I got it done in Mexico, because no one here in the US would do it, since my hair was dyed. I'm stubborn and I wanted it. I love curly hair so much! My hair got frizzy and very dry, it looked like corn hair. So, I had to cut it just under my ears and it still looked really damaged. I tried an expensive treatment for a week and it didn't work. A friend told me to try almond oil. A miracle! After a week, my hair had improved dramatically. After a few weeks, they were calling me Goldie Locks, of course, I used hot rollers to make it look nice and then applied the almond oil, which I got at Wal-mart for about 3 dollars. I'm very skeptical about home remedies and I'm always buying the expensive stuff. With nothing to loose, I tried it and it worked. It is unbelievable, but true. You should cut your hair as much as you can, maybe a little bit under the shoulder, then use the oil.

Try massaging some warm olive oil through the frizzy hair. Then put a shower cap over it and leave it for like 2 hours.
