Is it safe to feed my dog a hot dog?
I've read that hot dogs are bad for dogs. But also that its OK if you feed it to them every once and a while. All I want to do is put it in my dogs dinner... because he won't eat his food (for some reason) without anything extra. And it'll also only be for probably one night because tonight were having hot dogs for dinner.

Hot dogs are no better for your dog than they are for you. The meat in a dog is low quality but should be fine if you chop into small pieces or smash. If he consistently will not eat the dog food you give him try another brand, some dog foods are more interesting than others, for a dog.

If you feed the dog dry food, simply buy tinned found and mix it in. We have the same problem with my older dog. Although it your not supposed to change the dogs diet I have moved her to dry foods as its better for my pup but she won't eat it without tinned dog meat mixed in. Try it?
