My name is on my daughters birth certificate in TN. Now her mother and I are getting divorce and she is saying she's not mine and wants my name off birth certificate. She is my child I have raised her no matter what. What can be done?

No, the mother can't take your name off the BC on her own. She probably will need a court order after you have been given notice and an opportunity to be heard. This would best be accomplished along with the divorce.

How can a court system just take a dads name off just because he is not the biological dad I love my baby no matter what she is my daughter. Just because her mom is mad at me how is that moral for the court system to decide what is right

The court doesn't deal with moralities, but rather legalities. If it is found that you are not the biological father, there is a risk of removing you from the birth certificate.

HOWEVER, there are exceptions. Were you and the mother married at the time of the baby's delivery?

I hope that he will see that my daughters are just as much mine as they are hers. The older one I have raised since birth knowing that she not mine. Was in process of adopting and the mother canceled that 1 week before final court day.
