    Rewiring air compressor
    How do I rewire a 220V 2 hrp. Air compressor to 110V?

IMO I don't know if that's possible. I've never heard of it being done. A new compressor for a 220v window shaker is under 300 so I'd guess a 110v one would be cheaper.

If the nameplate on the motor lists both voltages, then there will be a diagram on the nameplate or in the wiring junction box showing the connections that need to be changed.

You may even find information at the manufacturers website.

If the motor nameplate only lists 220v then a motor shop will need to rewind the motor.
