3 Wire Junction Box to 4 Wire Stove
    Hello,

I just bought a 30" Kenmore Stove which has a 4-wire connection. The wall does not have an outlet, it has a 3-wire (Black, White and GND). I am not 100% sure how to make this connection because I haven't fooled with 220 in very long time.

I am looking for some help and advice on making the electrical connections.

    Thanks

If the cable is truly black, white and ground, as in NM cable, then you cannot use it for the new stove. You'd need to run a new X/3 cable, depending on the specs of the new stove. Most likely 8/3cu is OK.
