HI! 1st Post Here.

I replaced my AC Fan Motor and the Capacitor that came with it was 1/4 the size of the original capacitor. It had 2 Posts (4 Connectors each) and the original had 3 Posts 3 Connectors each) which were labeled. No labeling on new Capacitor G21-930. New motor is 1100rpm, 1 speed, 208 230.

I replaced the old GE motor with new motor. Still the same... Motor will not turn unless I give it a jumpstart with a stick or screwdriver. So... I used the SWAG Principle (Scientific Wild Azz Guess) and hooked up the new capacitor (Red on 1 side, Yellow on other side, along with another yellow from the AC condenser unit on the same side as the motor yellow wire, and a blue wire from the AC condenser unit hooked up on the side of the red wire from the fan motor)... Held my breath... And... turned it on.

Turned on by itself (No Jumpstart needed) and is working Great (for now).

Question: How do I know that I did it correctly? i.e. If it's not right... What can I expect to happen?

P.S. Doing this myself as I lost my job... AC repair wanted $1200 to replace the fan motor. I bought a new motor online for $128 + Fast Shipping (Total $189).:)

Sounds like its fine.
Be sure motor is blowing out of unit, if not, their may be 2 wire to swap for reversing.

Ummmm... Yep... It's blowing OUT. Good Point! So far so good.
