How do I divorce my husband of 10 months and we have a little one
I want to divorce my husband because we always fight and he is on drugs.
He doesn't work.He has never provided for us
He doesn't care about the child.. how can I prove he is unfit.
I want full costody of my child and a divorce.I don't want nothing from him, just my child.. We have never lived together as a family.

Go get a lawyer and tell him/her your case and they take you from there. If you don't want a lawyer then I suggest you do the legal process yourself, and try to provide solid evidence of financial records and proof of drug usage. Also include that you want your child to be with you and make sure everything you want to happen is said and understood to whoever is listening to your case in court. Remember all was back up your statements with evidence; do everything the legal and right way. Cheating and trying to manipulate the system will only hurt you. This is only my suggestion... Good luck (Let me know how it goes) my email is

You have never lived together as a family? Where is he? While I do agree with tatertot that God hates divorce, God also hates any form of marital abuse. Why put yourself and your child into jeopardy by staying with this man?

I agree to go and talk to an attorney. Call Legal Aid if you have little money. If you feel you are not safe where you are, please contact a women's abuse resource center and ask for help. Explain what is going on and do not be afraid to ask for help.

You can prove he is unfit. Read through the following thread on proving an unfit parent and see what you apply to your husband. Document everything going on - conversations, actions, etc. Dates and times. You will need that. He will be paying child support, the courts will mandate that. Take that child support and put it away, even if you do not want it. That is owed for your child's care.
