    Divorce ad in the newspaper
Can I place an ad in the paper to get a divorce since I don't know the whereabouts of my husband? If so, how much will it cost me and can I do it on my own or do I need a lawyer?

It all depends, each state and even the local court will have specific rules even to the size of the print, and which news paper it has to be printed in.

In your area do you see others doing this ? If so call that news paper and ask them for pricing.

My advice, hire an attorney by the hour and get some advice on it.

You probably could. To make sure it's legal and binding I'd get a lawyer.
