    I like a girl with a boyfriend
I've been at my job for 2 years and a new girl started 3 weeks ago. I have known this girl for 4 years just by name and have always thought she was good looking. A co-worker jokingly talked to her about liking me and she started texting me. I am interested in her and I've gone to the movies, lunch and now dinner with her. She continues to talk to me wanting to hang out. But she has a boyfriend who she has been seeing for 7 months. He hangs out with her and her friends where as I know none of her friends. We have not talked about her boyfriend but she has mentioned him a few times. I have been told by someone else that she is frustrated because her boyfriend never wants to do anything but they do party together. What's my best move or what are my options here, any ideas?

The old saying is never mix Busiuness and Pleasure.

Relationships in a work place, Never if ever work out.

Also this girl has a boyfriend.
That alone should tell you your course of action.. I.E.Just be her friend... only do something if she becomes single.
You wouldn't like it if some guy was on here spilling his feelings about your girlfriend.

Stay out of situations like this, as you really don't know if its just a friend thing, or is making her b/f jealous. Why get caught in the middle, and be distracted from pursuing your own life, with someone who is available.

Yep, I'd have to go with the above advices...

    1. dating a coworker is NEVER a good idea.

    2. dating a coworker who has a BOYFRIEND is even worse of an idea.

If this gets out in the office, it makes you a homewrecker. Do you REALLY want to be "that guy"?

Sneezy is right. I dated a co-worker and rumors were just out of control. My fiancée now I worked with too, but we kept it really low key and no one knew for about 2 months. Then when it came out, the rumors started but she ended up quitting because of them, we stayed together and moved in together.

It's an awkward situation and unles you plan on quitting, don't get involved. So much drama comes from work place relationships, which is why a lot of companies these days are banning office place romance.

    AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Tempting her away from a boyfriend with your charms and promise of attentiveness... that's one thing. ACTUALLY DATING someone else's girlfriend... how despicable.

    Cut it out.

Not that its necessary, but I'll agree that its wrong in more than one way. Its not worth the risk to your career, or hers, or the problems that would come of dating a co-worker.

And pursuing someone who is in a relationship is also a terrible idea. If she isn't happy, she can break up with him - without your help.
