Convert 2 garage doors into one
This is for my home. My garage door opening is too small, I barely squeeze my car in. I currently have 2 garage doors which I want to convert into one. They are separated by brick (just on the outside, both doors open into one large space. Is it possible to convert the 2 small doors into one large one and what would the average cost be? The doors are 8' wide and around 82" tall. Pictures are attached.

That small wall between the doors is carrying the weight of the roof and bricks above the doors. You can't just remove it and expect the house to stand. There are headers inside the space above each door, two of them total. You would need someone to remove those headers and install one large header, not a DIY project. Call 3 contractors for estimates, bet you'll consider buying a smaller car.

I have to agree... you are looking at a good sized job.
You are more than likely looking at $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 minimum with the cost of a new door and header. It may be a lot cheaper to open up one side to a 9 foot width. An on site contractor will have to look at it... Good Luck.
