    Gay porn sites and kids
I am desperately looking to find answers to questions that I can't ask just anyone and it's killing me. I have an 11 year old boy whom I just learned has been getting on the computer without my consent. From having previous issues with homework and school accomplishement I had banned him from using the computer all together since January of this year. He is only allowed on the PC for school assignments such as research and or typing of assigmnents with my full supervision. Well to my surprise I just learned that he has been logging on with my 16 yr old daughter's password to not only get online but to go on porn sites. Although this alarms me tremendously as a parent, what freaks me out the most is the fact that he's been getting on gay porn sites the most. I did a thourough research of all the sites he's been on and 98% of them are gay sites. Although I would never reject my son if he were to be that type of a boy I can't help but feel depressed and anxious as to what his life would be like in the future. My questions to you all would be, is this normal at such young age? Does this curiosity makes him more prone to likings of his same sex? Does the fact that he's been mostly on gay porn sites mean that my son is gay? Help! I have not had a moment of peace within me ever since and don't know how or where to proceed from here on.

Where is the computer? If he is allowed to get on it should be in the area that you can see it. We have our computer in the kids room and I can see everything, they don't dare go where they shouldn't. Guess what else... when we had a foster child living here, we knew he got on in the middle of the night when we were sleeping... we took the mouse with us to bed. LOL I know sounds drastic. But it works. Move the puter if you want to have full reign.
Now as for the gay porn sites, I think it is time to talk to your boy. Just cause he looks at gay sites doesn't mean HE is. It is natural to want to see it ALL! So you really need to talk to him about sex, about certain things. Friends just don't have the facts, he needs you for those. Good luck! It is time you step up to this new adventure with an open mind and heart!;)

Absolutely agree with Startover - my neighbor disables her computer every night to keep her daughter off it.

I am concerned by this statement: "Although I would never reject my son if he were to be that type of a boy ...".

    This type of boy?

It's probably curiosity; is he spending time with kids who are older or more sexually wise and/or mature?

    Time to talk to him!

At 11 kids are not normally sexually anything except curious. With all of the push and teachings ( even in school) I would not be surprised at trying to find out more about it.

But you need to do better computer control
