I'm 14 and writing a novel. How can I get it published?
I'm writing a teen fantasy/romance story something along the lines of that lol
I'm only 14years old but, I have a real passion for writing it's an escape out of reality and a realease of feelings for me. I wanted to know how I would be able to get it published as a book.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot :)

You finish it preferably, you edit it, you let others edit it, you write it over and over until it's perfect, you find an agent who contacts publishing companies for you, you send him or her a query letter selling your book, and you hope the agent accepts.

Don't expect much success at first... agents are busy people who care less about you than what they eat for lunch that day and are only looking for a catchy paragraph in your query letter that snags their attention more than the other hundreds of query letters they're getting. Have funnn good luck :)

    Hi, KrisChonger!

How you would publish it would depend on what sort of scale of publication that you would want to do, large amounts of books or small amounts of books.

If you would like to publish it in large amounts, then I would recommend getting an agent, as has already been mentioned, who would then present your books, in professional ways, to publishers. Publishers won't be as likely to even look at your work unless you are represented by an agent because they get so many works submitted to them.

If you would like to self-publish, then you might want to have a look at what can be done by using Lulu and CreateSpace. It's my understanding that they will also have some resources for you concerning marketing and other things.

    I wish you the best!

    Thanks!

There are "publish on demand" outfits. I knew someone who wrote a book about breast cancer and she published it herself with a capital outlay.
