Does black soap work for acne, removing scars and lightening skin?
I am 12 and have really bad acne.I have many scars and recently found out it was due to popping my pimples. I have tried many soaps but nothing really seemed to work. I recently used Sudocream but not much happened. I have heard that black soap works, does it?

Black soap is usually used to lighten or even out skin tone. If you have acne scars the black soap might help. I don't think the black soap would do much for treating pimples though.

I find that cream cleansers work better for acne. When I started getting acne I used soapy cleansers, but they didn't work well with my skin. After I tried cream cleansers, my ance started clearing up.

I recommend trying different types of cleansers that have different active ingredients and different textures. This way you can find what works for your skin and what doesn't. You could start by trying a cream cleanser. Clean & Clear makes a good one and Olay has really good cream cleansers too. If they don't work go onto trying a different cleanser with different active ingredients.

I don't know much about black soap, but I can give you a trick to prevent future acne scars. To get rid of acne, you have to liberate your skin by popping pimples. Get an aloe plant and, once you're finished clearing a few pimples, break a branch and spread the transparent "goo" inside it on your face. It's not disgusting, it's transparent, odourless and silky. Aloe is good for healing and it makes you skin soft. I love it because I have sensitive skin so the more natural, the better. Aloe plants are not difficult to take care of anyway.
    Good luck! :)

DON'T pop your pimples. Especially if you have a lot of acne. Popping zits spreads bacteria and can cause scarring. Leonaday, maybe your method works for you, but it can't work on everyone.

I used to pop my zits when I had acne and the scarring was bad even when using products at the same time. I had to use Mederma to get rid of the scars. After I stopped popping my zits, the acne cleared up with the use of cleansers.

My sister is addicted to popping her zits and she has so many scars and her acne hasn't cleared up even after trying many products.
If you are popping your pimples, your skin won't be any healthier. Ask any dermatologist and they will tell you the same.

I am very grateful for your opinions XOXOlove and LeonaDy; but I don't think I could get an aloe plant very easily due to the fact I live in a flat in London.
