Hi, I recently received a letter from collections for 90 something dollars(CBCL) in regards to a 407 charge, I called up 407 and they said it was from 2002??

So I'm curious , if the limitations act starts from 2002 or from when CBCL began to contact me. I downloaded a copy of the limitations act in ontario but its complicated.
I read something about the day the claim is discovered?

Any help would be appreciated , thanks

The SOL starts from 2002.

The fact they took a long time to contact you is THEIR fault.

But the SOL has not run out.

Before Jan 1, 2004 the SOL was 6 years. It is now only 2 years.

I'm getting called by eyecore previously cbcl I guess and 407 etr again now?? Hmmm
Is there an SOL on 407 debts?

Anyone sure about sol on 407 fines?
