Received Summons for Credit Card Debt.
If the Credit Card company wins judgement, is there a law that allows me to keep my car?

Amount is $3,000 and I legitimately owe this, is it even worth it to pay the $200 and answer the court when I'm going to lose anyway?

Is there anything I can do to slow the process down, and my car is old and cheap valued under $1000.. They can't seize it could they?

I don't know about califorina's credit card laws
I think it varies from state to state as does the sol's ,but anyway the company doesn't want the car unless they put a lien on the title Most likely they would get a judgement and then that gives them the ability to go after wages, and bank accounts so I think not answering would be the wrong thing to do Just curious why would it cost you 200 dollars to answer the court?

There are dozens of threads here that answer the question about showing up in court. And it shouldn't cost you as the defendant.

Most creditors will not go after a car, unless there is a chance selling it will cover the entire debt.
