Hi, ashleyburnham!

What sort of drawings do you do and what medium(s) do you use to produce them? Also, would you be willing to post some examples of your work on this thread, please?

There are ways to make a living doing drawing and there are many ways that you can have a free website where you can display the works that you produce so that you can sell them.

    Thanks!

I do all kinds of drawings actually. But I love to do like... Robots, and creatures, fairys, mistical stuff. Well I usually use pencil work or paints. Just depends. Here's some of my artwork

This is cool, ashleyburnham! Thanks for posting the images!

We do have a least one artist on this site who does make money selling what she creates. That would be jrebel7. Pencils And Paint You could have a website similar to that.

    How old are you, please?

    Thanks!

Why not, please? If you were to go on to study beyond high school, then you would have a better chance of making a living doing what you love to do!

Hey Ashley... classes are a good idea. You can always learn new techinques and improve the one's you already have. My Grandmother has been a successful artist her whole life and at 91 years old she is still taking lessons.

An idea for making money: Homemade greeting cards. Start now making holiday cards then find fairs in your area where you can rent a booth and sell them. And/Or sell them on a website.

I can see that you're no longer logged in, Ashley. jjwoodhull has also joined us here. I know that there will also be others. I also know that jrebel7 has been taking a break from the site for awhile. I'm sure that she will be back, though. I need to go now. A lot of us who are really into various kinds of art are usually on really late at night if you would like to catch some of us at the same time.

Please do check out the following threads for other ideas and examples of what others have done with their art for themselves and also to sell.

    Catch you later...

I made money from my drawing I went onto this site. It seems like one of those usual sites you see everywhere but it is actually really helpful. Even if its not the money they say, it has a collection of good resources to get your art jump started if your willing to put in a little bit of work.
