My wall unit maytag oven hums when it is turned on. I was told the control unit was going bad so I replaced it when it stopped working. The new unit started humming the first time it was used. This is the second time I have replaced this unit in one year. The oven is seven years old. Please advise what to do next. Maybe a sears tech.

Control unit was bad? I highly doubt it.

Several things can cause the unit to hum. Sometimes the elements actually resonate to the 60 cycle ac line power. Sometimes just the connecting wiring can hum. Same reason.
